How Does Scotch Differ from Bourbon-Raw material
Bourbon whisky is made from a mixture of cereal , which includes corn, malt, rye or wheat. The U.S. government has a strict brewing standard for Bourbon whisky, and the law stipulates that the content of corn in the brewing material of bourbon should not be less than 51%. While scotch whisky is different, it must be brewed with malt, water and yeast, but to make the color darker, sometimes a small amount of other grains are added too.
